This was before I started investigating why Facebook advertising doesn’t work, why they use artificial metrics & how Facebook has done very little to drive sales to campaigns I have been involved in.

(The industry is begging Facebook to change!)

The video shows that there is a massive hole in the digital marketing industry when it comes to bot driven Key performance indicators (KPI) , how bots are costing ad buyers money & how to prevent it. My impression of this video upon seeing it was when a campaign can be 98% bot views, Google & Facebook is not doing enough to address the issue!
This was published by White Ops July 10th 2015, unlike the other two videos, this was published two years ago. Proving that advertising fraud on Google and Facebook was brought to the companies attention a long time ago. in this video, Michael Tiffany talks about how click fraud needs to be made less profitable and how his company can help. Don’t get me wrong this was made to boost the reputation of an online security company but he brings up alarming statistics about fraud click advertising and how Google, Facebook & Publisher websites are affected.
Ashton Deroy’s Personal testimony: I have probably spent $200 over my time running a social media marketing business to try & create conversions through Facebook. I have sold to one client an amount that wasn’t nearly enough to cover my initial investments. I only had 3 inbound leads & for whatever reason, those deals could not be completed.
Personally, I have seen telemarketing, Email Marketing, & Door to door sales be far more effective than digital advertising! That is right I am actually telling people to go back to the basics. Send messages where people are on the other end to receive them, & build your brand based on person to person engagement. As a sidebar, I tried to engage with 5 ads yesterday through Facebook and no one responded or served me. Proving that using Facebook for the engagement your brand seeks, does not quite pay off when you use it wrong! People are more persuasive than content.
One of the questions was “What does your brand even do?”
My old rule was, unless they benefit you for free! Why would you pay to market on them? So far WordPress & Google still meet that criteria & Facebook dropped the ball.
