Ashton’s Educational background

Shared from AshtonDeroy.ca

Hey Readers,

Ashton Deroy Writes: I added an education page to my WordPress site. This goes over my background, this is just a watered down version of my educational background for anyone who cares to look over.

I welcome any Alumni/active students from Seneca, St. Lawrence College & Loyalist College to get in contact with me. I am more than happy to give feedback on active projects, Business plans & websites.

Before anyone can expect to do business you must get to know someone first & understand their title. So what is a Community Manager?

Community Manager.png

Google sums up that I manage brands social media networks & connect with potential customers then advocate accordingly.

But what is Ashton’s Persona?

To answer that here are three things about Ashton that are pretty cool!

  1. He has a passion for Mixed Martial Arts – From watching UFC, to taking Kickboxing lessons at Seneca College. Ashton Deroy has a flair for the martial arts and hopes to one-day study Chute Boxing in Brazil & Muay Thai in Thailand.
  2. He broke in Community Management through LGBTQ projects – Currently, he is managing Seneca Pride’s LGBTQ page. Click here for more

Jenny & the driver, 40 pages read.

Jenny & the Driver – This links to the book I am reading on Amazon. I highly recommend buying it for $13.31 as the Amazon listed price. Sharron paints a picture of words with her writing. I personally enjoyed reading this book during times of high anxiety or before bed.

Written by Ashton Deroy: Hey guys so I have to admit I lost this book Jenny & the driver. My dad always says to me, “don’t take things places you don’t need them.” This was another example of me ignoring that wise advice.

Currently the book is in Alana Skye’s Car.

Ashton Deroy & Alana Skye

Ashton Deroy & Alana Skye at Canada’s Wonderland.

What happened to the book? I took the book to Canada’s Wonderland with Alana knowing most of the day we would stand in line waiting for rides so that I could read the book. I forgot I don’t do things like read when I am around Alana. Mostly we spent the day wandering, looking for a vegetarian food place & becoming delusional from low blood sugar.

However now that I have covered the book is missing! I did manage to read 40 pages and here is what I think of the book so far.

Review of the book: David is a very relate-able character for the reader. He grew up poor with nothing, went to college and got educated as an auto mechanic. He got a really good job as a driver where he got to live in mansion.

Jenny is a beautiful woman who is married to a man who is in a coma. David instantly becomes infatuated with her and the story progresses from there. Other than that in the book so far David has been bitten by a dog & has listened to the family he serves with/for sing terrible folk music.

I am really looking forward to reading this book more however in order for me to do that I will likely have to re-purchase the book. Unfortunately I kind of screwed up my plan to read & promote the book during this summer before my school workload comes in! Hopefully I remember not to lose things moving forward!

Hey Toronto-Businessphere Readers, it is Ashton Deroy. Who is that we are seeing in our picture on Businessphere? That is Anita Srivastava working lady, sales lady and events marketer for Seneca College. We set up her website at Anita-Marketing .

She is the newest member to the Toronto-Businessphere Network. She is going to be writing an article on Events marketing for us on how to break the noise in events marketing. This is apart of our goal to add multiple student voices to the website.

I am so proud of Anita since I met her. She has grown so much in to Canadian culture, she is so ambitious and I tell everyone I believe she will have a bright career in Public Relations.
