As a consumer, you are officially thinking this website is way too sketchy to put your credit card in and purchase from!

Other crucial issues with the website

  • The website has a missing SSL certificate, making the web page appear not secure. Which defers online payment 
  •  No related headers 
  • Render blocking which makes the website harder to load. 

What would I add: 

A slideshow of the current hot product lines, A link for Public Relations information & more than one white female model to show this is a line for anyone. I would also power the eCommerce shop with Etsy or Shopify software as according to a variety of websites, this website isn’t considered secure enough for payment. The Facebook also has not been updated in months & they are sorely lacking video content. This is why not everyone should have their own “Do it yourself website.”

Unless you happen to be Republican First Lady Ivanka Trump who had your line dropped in retail locations but not online February 2nd.

Nordstrom stopped carrying Ivanka Trump’s brand because of calls for a boycott against retailers that carry Trump products and declining in sales of the product. Everything happened so quickly.

On Wednesday Trump’s brand was available on Nordstrom’s website but later on, next day, Trump was not listed on Nordstrom’s master list of brands available.

There were not any comments on the situation appeared. The boycott opposing Trump’s brand has been started last fall by Shannon Coulter – brand strategist. The brand’s

inventory levels on Nordstrom’s website was fluctuated and been unstable for the past couple of months. The number of products available dropped from more than 75 items to 9 and then to 0.

Critics are urging shoppers to stop spending money at her namesake brand. Opponents want to exclude her brand from large retail chains including Amazon, Nordstrom, Lord & Taylor, Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s, Dillard’s, Marshalls, and Neiman Marcus.

When Shannon Coulter – called Ivanka Trump’s brand “toxic” and “demanded” (Coulter) store became the main target of the boycotts.

He requested stop selling brand’s products. The reply was the only month after via Twitter message that said it wasn’t taking a political position by selling Trump’s products. “We hope that offering a vendor’s products isn’t misunderstood as us taking a political position; we’re not,” the company said at the time. “We recognize our customers can make choices about what they purchase based on personal views and we’ll continue to give them options.”
